Tom Soling is Managing Partner at SAM International Denmark and one of the company’s most experienced consultants. Since 2014, he has served as a trusted advisor to both business owners and executives, and his strong business acumen across all levels of leadership makes him a sharp and reliable dialogue partner.
With over 350 recruitment assignments to date – many at the CEO, COO and CFO levels – Tom has a unique eye for the strategic match between people and business.
His work spans multiple industries and a wide variety of roles. Today, he works with everything from recruitment and executive search to outplacement and Wingmanager projects involving leadership development and discreet strategic advisory services.
Tom is also one of the main driving forces behind SAM’s vision and unique approach, Value Through People, which he helped shape from the very beginning. For Tom, Value Through People is about building lasting relationships – both internally and externally. Trust and respect are the foundation, and both candidates and clients can feel that when working with him.
When he’s not also acting as CEO of our Swedish office, assisting his many Danish clients, or deeply immersed in a recruitment project, Tom brings energy to our offices in Fredericia and Kokkedal. He is known for his generosity, professional enthusiasm, and his unofficial role as the go-to guy for good vibes and informal discussions with colleagues.
In his free time, Tom remains just as energetic, with a passion for Formula 1, gastronomy, wine and art.
Who are we
For us, our motto “Value through people” means the importance of people in creating value for our business. This is a core value in our work, as we know that the foundation of our success lies in each member of our team.
We are business professionals from different management positions and industries with long experience in finding the right employee for each position. From this, we formed our common “SAM” community, where at least two of the most suitable consultants participate in each application process.
