For Camilla Holten, recruitment is about more than just profiles and processes. It’s about people – and about being able to stand behind the company you’re representing. As a partner at SAM International since 2013, she sees herself as a strong ambassador for her clients.
“For me, it’s about storytelling and passion. I need to be able to make an impact and come across as credible. I’m knocking on a closed door, and candidates only open it for someone interesting. That takes time, trust and being well-prepared when meeting potential candidates.”

Camilla has 18 years of experience in recruitment and executive search. Her clear strength lies in seeing people’s potential and matching personalities with the right organisation. She has worked with both Danish and international companies and has developed a strong understanding of how to navigate different markets and decision-making environments. Camilla’s approach is equally strategic and human – always driven by a desire to create sustainable solutions and long-term relationships.
She is particularly skilled at identifying the unique company culture, as well as the professional and personal traits required to succeed in a given role. Who are we
For us, our motto “Value through people” means the importance of people in creating value for our business. This is a core value in our work, as we know that the foundation of our success lies in each member of our team.
We are business professionals from different management positions and industries with long experience in finding the right employee for each position. From this, we formed our common “SAM” community, where at least two of the most suitable consultants participate in each application process.
